Talent Acquisition Partner
POSITION SUMMARY
The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for recruiting talented and high performing innovators into the organization through traditional and innovative recruiting channels to carry out and honor our heroic donors’ decision to bring hope, strength, and life to those in need. This position will work across the organization with responsibility to recruit high volume and difficult-to-fill positions at all levels. This position will be expected to proactively market Nevada Donor Network (NDN) as an employer of choice and seek passive and active candidates for open positions. This position will be expected to meet the service deliverables for recruiting needs of the organization. The Talent Acquisition Partner achieves staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates; advising managers; managing relocation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Essential Functions Statement(s):
- Manage talent acquisition processes: sourcing, screening, interviewing, background checks, reference checks and on-boarding.
- Evaluates applicants by studying job descriptions and job qualifications, discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers, interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
- Build and maintain a successful recruiting process, including the utilization of social and digital technologies that attracts top talent and a diverse workforce.
- Builds and maintains relationships with educational institutions ensuring a pipeline of potential candidates.
- Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need by building networks of potential candidates.
- Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
- Arranges interviews by coordinating schedules; arranges travel, lodging, and meals.
- Develop and prepare technical and behavioral interview questions based on open position.
- Responds to job applicants regarding current employment opportunities, fostering relationships with talent to ensure they have a positive candidate experience.
- Responsible for maintaining strong professional relationships and rapport with all staff and management.
- Act as subject matter expert on employment law, legislation and unemployment that impacts recruiting to ensure compliance applicable professional standards (e.g., AOPO) affecting HR and employment practices.
- Responsible to maintain and improve company website recruiting page content to assist in recruiting.
- Works with Director of People, Culture + Development and Creative Coordinator to create clear, consistent messaging in order to strengthen the employment brand of the organization.
- Work directly with staffing agencies, when needed.
- Manages employee referral program.
- Manages new employee relocation process.
- Responsible for tracking and analyzing data regarding employee and applicant statistics as requested.
- Prepares monthly and biweekly departmental reporting for management.
- People, Culture + Development team member and will assist with HR duties as assigned.
- Assists with providing coverage of the front reception desk as needed.
- Maintains confidentiality of all employee and donor/recipient information.
- May perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
- Assist and participate in activities that embodies NDN’s culture.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field required.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of recruitment or progressive human resources experience required.
Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point at an intermediate level. HRIS and ATS experience.
Certificates & Licenses: SHRM-CP or PHR preferred.
Other Requirements: Ability to work and communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization. Demonstrated excellence in communication skills, both written and verbal required. Ability to communicate in a pleasant, tactful, and professional manner required. Excellent administrative skills such as ability to organize projects, strong attention to detail, and demonstrated follow-through with projects required. Accuracy in punctuation, composition, and grammar required. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team required. Task oriented, strong attention to detail required.
