Full Job Description
Position Summary: The primary focus of this role is recruitment for all positions focusing on sourcing resumes, posting jobs, and maintaining job boards and creating recruitment strategies.
Principle Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for full life cycle recruiting; evaluate trends in recruitment and the job market and proactively create content for posting on job boards such as LinkedIn and Indeed.
2. Develop job descriptions in conjunction with hiring managers; advise managers on candidates for finalization of hiring decisions; establish good repour with hiring managers and develop recruitment strategies.
3. Ensure that job applications, new hire paperwork - including job offers - and other required documents are completed appropriately and meet regulatory standards, including background checks, I-9 etc.
4. Coordinate on-boarding and orientation for newly hired employees.
5. Support Vice President working with various departments within Selfhelp to create fiscally sensitive advertising and social media presence for recruitment. and additional special projects as needed.
6 Work with staffing agencies and manage accounts for third party vendors in regard to recruitment and placing of temporary staff.
7. Coordinate participation in outreach activities, sourcing and social media presence (e.g., job boards, job fairs, contact with community-based organizations, government institutions, etc.)
9. Be a resource for managers and staff regarding for inquiries regarding policies and procedures, employee relations, benefits.
Salary Range: 62,000-70,000 annual salary; commensurate with experience
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Human Resources or Related field; will consider experience in lieu of degree.
- Minimum of two years' experience in Human Resources with a focus on full cycle recruiting
- Proficiency with HRMS system with a strong background in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS);
- Strong understanding of and experience in posting on Job boards such as Indeed, LinkedIn & Zip Recruiter
- Problem solving abilities while multi-tasking; ability to exercise sound judgment, confidentiality and integrity.
- Strong analytical and computer skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills
- Knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures within HR
- Ability to work on own initiative
Working Conditions / Hybrid Schedule: Business Office Environment with phone and computer use; hybrid work model with 3 days per week in office after thirty days of employment.
