The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner (TAP) is responsible for providing proactive, strategic sourcing and full-cycle recruiting in support of Signature Bank's workforce needs. The Sr. TAP develops and maintains trusting relationships with Business Leaders, HR Generalists, candidates, Vendors, Universities, and the Community at large. This person adapts to changing needs, identifies areas of process improvement, supports diversity initiatives, and ensures positive experiences, in alignment with Signature mission & values. The Sr. TAP utilizes a collaborative approach, with the ability to demonstrate creativity, business acumen, and responsiveness, to efficiently support the business.
As part of our team, this is how you'll spend your time:
- Provides ongoing support to designated lines of business at Signature. Act as a partner to business leaders and generalists in supporting current and future workforce needs of the organization. Ensures that actions and communications are in support of, and contribute to, excellent candidate experience. Proactively, and consistently, shares pertinent and comprehensive information and updates to appropriate stakeholders.
- Autonomously manages, and drives, the full life cycle recruiting processes, from requisition through new hire onboarding.
- Through a collaboration with Generalists and Business Leaders, develops multifaceted recruiting strategies in support of workforce needs, both current, and anticipated. In alignment with those findings, builds and maintains diverse talent pipelines.
- Seeks continuous improvements to enhance the services of the TA and HR functions. Manages projects that support our improved efficiencies and business solutions, within TA and in support of other HR functional areas.
- Makes recommendations on new processes, partnerships, or technologies that are specifically designed/aligned with a designated business group.
- Develops external relationships aligned with Signature workforce needs and diversity initatives, including, but not limited to, Agencies, Universities, Community Partners, Banking Associations, and Networking Groups
- Makes recommendations based on industry best practices, and be an expert in, sourcing strategies and resources, interviewing techniques, pre-hire assessments, and offer negotiations.
- Utilizes ATS to facilitate the interview and hiring processes, accurately capturing data in real time. Educates end users (managers and candidates) on their roles in the process.
- Serves as a mentor and model of performance excellence to colleagues, in the TA function and across HR. May identify, and facilitate, areas for continued learning or knowledge sharing across the TA function, HR, or the business.
Your background should include:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a full-cycle recruiting role, preferably in financial services or similar industry.
- Bachelor’s degree (BA, BS, BBA, etc.) from four-year college or university and three to five years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be comfortable utilizing an Applicant Tracking System for tracking workflow and documentation purposes. Workday experience preferred, but not required. - Thorough, up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment regulations.
- Experienced in behavioral interviewing techniques and comfortable in thoroughly vetting candidates.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability and desire to work with HR Colleagues, search firms, hiring managers, and candidates in a thoughtful and personable way.
- Strong time management and organization skills, with the ability to prioritize and shift focus quickly.
- Strong ability to influence, lead and partner across business lines and levels across the organization.
- Comfrotable in networking with, attracting, and sourcing a diverse candidate pool.
- Strong personal integrity, organizational maturity and the ability to maintain the strictest levels of confidentiality.
- Creativity, flexibility, business acumen and execution skills are critical to success in the role.
Signature Bank offers a base salary in this position with a range of $90,000-$123,000, dependent on qualifications and experience. In addition, there is an annual bonus plan that is paid based on merit and performance in the role.
