Salary Range: $77,265.00 (Min.) - $100,445.00 (Mid.) - $123,625.00 (Max.)

Job Summary


The Talent Acquisition Advisor II develops, manages and implements recruitment strategies for a wide range of positions designed to attract and maintain a highly qualified, mission-driven workforce to promote L.A. Care's mission and vision and achieve the organization's goals. Working closely with hiring managers and designated staff, the Talent Acquisition Advisor II refines position descriptions and requirements to attract best qualified candidates, manages staff requisitions, identifies sources for qualified candidates, implements recruitment plans, screens applicants, conducts reference checks, background checks, negotiates and extends offers, and assists with onboarding new hires. Partners with Hiring Managers across the organization to identify future hiring needs and strategies.

Duties


Coordinate the timely processing of recruitment to include automated requisitions, new hire documentation, etc. Assist and train management in the necessary paperwork to assure timely processing of candidates and meeting goals aligned with recruitment initiatives.


Assist management in defining job functions and requirements for strategic and realistic recruitment. Review position descriptions and job requirements.


Creatively source candidates through a variety of recruitment methodologies (Internet, professional associations, career and university job fairs, networking, etc.).


Screen candidates over the phone, video chat (i.e. Skype/WebEx) or in person so that the finalists are the best qualified and best fit for the open positions.


Develop recruitment plans to proactively meet future needs of departments, and assure a meaningful flow of qualified candidates when needed.


Provide information for reporting on a regular/as needed basis.


Work effectively and efficiently with other HR Functions on internal processes (i.e. Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), Total Rewards, Learning and Career)


Collaborate with the HR Business Partners and Total Rewards team regarding compensation-related consultative decisions [e.g., compensation related business problems, job offers to external candidates, internal transfers, promotions, etc.]


Assess internal equity and candidate’s qualifications to determine appropriate salary recommendations.


Perform other duties as assigned.

Education Required

Bachelor's Degree

In lieu of degree, equivalent education and/or experience may be considered.

Education Preferred

Experience

Required:

At least 3-5 years recruitment experience in a corporate or agency environment by managing large requisition loads and tight timelines.

At least 1-2 years experience with various recruiting technologies including Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), job boards, creative sourcing and the most current sourcing tools.

Skills

Required:

Persuasion and negotiation skills are vital to this role in extending job offer and building relationships with Hiring Managers.

Demonstrated skills in all aspects of recruiting such as networking, sourcing, qualifying, screening, negotiating/closing and relationship management.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work as a team player, building strong, productive relationships.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and Power Point; SharePoint; database (Access etc.,).

Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively work with staff at all levels of the organization.
