Overview:

The Recruiter is the employer face of the organization in the community. They are a key player in the selection efforts for Resorts World Las Vegas. You’ll design, implement and oversee recruitment interactions to create a unique and branded selection experience.

  • Everyone works in Guest Experience – If a Guest needs assistance, it is your responsibility to assist that Guest and do so with a smile. If the Guest needs more assistance than you can provide, it is your responsibility to notify the appropriate department/individual.


Primary Job Responsibilities - Includes, but is not limited to:

  • Make hiring decisions on behalf of Resorts World Las Vegas as it relates to the evaluation and selection of applicants.
  • Ensure a legally and procedurally compliant hiring process, including the audit of Hiring Manager actions.
  • Develop, design and analyze job specifications/requirements.
  • Travel to local, regional and national recruitment events.
  • Coordinate and attend various recruitment events and activities.
  • Design and facilitate recruitment related training for hiring managers.
  • Develop strategic recruitment action plans.
  • Ensure quality, quantity and diversity in the applicant pool.
  • Consider the competencies/skills required, understand business operations, and develop a recruiting strategy to fulfill each staffing need.
  • Manage job descriptions and postings, follow established branding, formatting and other standards.
  • Ensure qualified internal applicants are reviewed and interviewed in a timely manner.
  • Source candidates through a variety of channels including internet, cold calling, networking, referrals and social networks.
  • Develop strategic recruitment action plans for positions that have an applicant deficiency.
  • Receive and review applicant resumes for credentials and appropriate skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements.
  • Act as liaison between Hiring Managers and candidates.
  • Conduct preliminary interviews and in-person group interview sessions.
  • Utilize the applicant tracking system to manage and source through applicant pools.
  • Responsible for building candidate database and proactively engaging with passive candidates.
  • Provide complete, accurate and inspiring information to candidates about Resorts World Las Vegas and the position applied for.
  • Ensure a consistent and seamless experience in all recruiting events.
  • Ensure consistency and compliance with any applicable federal and state labor regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with all levels of the organization to enhance engagement and improve turnover and retention.
  • Communicate with property regarding recruitment initiatives, events and programs.
  • Create, coordinate and lead appropriate social events and site visits to attract candidates.
  • Counsel incumbents and potential candidates on career opportunities/development.
  • Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing.
  • Use personal device/cellular phone for job related tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • At least two years of Human Resources, Recruitment or Brand Marketing experience.
  • Working knowledge of strategic recruitment sourcing practices.
  • Abilitity to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to meet hiring productivity standards/expectations.
  • Ability to utilize various strategies to ensure quality, quantity and diversity in the applicant pool.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Working knowledge with complex technology systems.
  • Working knowledge of state and federal employment laws.
  • Excellent public speaking skills.
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
  • Excellent project management experience.
  • Ability to successfully manage the assigned workload, ensuring timely and consistent delivery of expectations, as well as, expected follow-through and follow-up.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel locally and nationally.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications (example word, Excel) and applicant systems (ATS).
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English.
  • Polished appearance and demeanor.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and departments rules and regulations, policies and procedures.
  • At least 21 years of age.


Preferred:

  • Previous supervisory+ experience.
  • Working knowledge of hotel/casino industry, job classifications, duties & operations.
  • Strong database of existing recruitment partnerships.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in another language (i.e. bilingual in English and Spanish).
  • Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort environment.
